Watching Politics

If you live, eat, and breathe politics like I do, you tend to watch a lot of political tv shows or movies. There are movies or tv shows that I re-watch at any opportunity I get. I thought I’d share some of my favourites:

  1. West Wing – best political show of all time. There are so many great clips from this series, but this is one of my favourites for sure.

  2. The American President with Michael Douglas & Annette Bening (great twist, Martin Sheen is also in this movie)!

  3. Scandal is an incredible show that has a kick-ass woman who wields power in Washington.

  4. House of Cards – American version

  5. House of Cards – British version

Bonus: The Newsroom – although this isn’t a strictly political show, there is a great clip from the series that needs to be included in any list!

What do you think about the clips? What would you like to see on this list?

I know the clip you mean, brilliant, but I suppose that ‘s the Canadian in me wanting humility in our neighbours. Speaking of which, has there ever been a fictional show about Canadian politics?
