I got one of the most encouraging comments today someone can get; a young person messaged me to say that my political blog inspired them to start their own (click here to read the first two posts of that new blog!) Like Sally Field said: “You like me, you really like me!”

As my internship wraps up (tomorrow is my last day), I’m looking forward to being able to get on the campaign trail full-time and devoting the next 6.5 weeks to electing as many Liberal Members of Parliament as possible in Manitoba.

In the meantime, I’ll leave you with this awesome clip that’s been making the rounds online from yesterday – Rosie Barton from CBC’s Power and Politics did what millions of people had wanted to do since the start of the election campaign; she took a Conservative candidate to task. If ever there was a great rationale for keeping the CBC, this is it. The flip side is, you know that’s why the Tories would be all for dismantling it!
